Sandra Cherry
It is with a heavy heart that we send out this message to let friends, adopters and donors of the Humane Society of Sumner County, know about the passing of our longtime cheerleader and President, Sandra Cherry. She passed away February 1, 2021, after a months long battle with brain cancer. Sandra was passionate about rescuing and finding forever homes for the homeless animals in this area. She continued to work in real estate and estate liquidation service, but gave as many hours to volunteering for the animals, as she did working for herself. Even during her last hospital stay she was still posting in Facebook, asking for help for her beloved animals. If you wish to send something in remembrance of Sandra our address is:
